Entertainment Centers - Are you Not Entertained?

Ah, that iconic scene from the movie The Gladiator where Maximus finishes off his opponent too quickly and the crowd is silent. "Are you not entertained?!?" Russell Crowe's character yells into the crowd before they erupt into cheers. Now, I'm not bringing this us because I am about to blog about starting up amateur gladiatorial arenas in our backyards. I am bringing it up because I want to talk about entertainment centers. 

Admittedly, as a child, I heard one of my parents' friends talking about getting a new entertainment center in the mid-'80s and I got super excited. My friends and I were going to have a blast playing around in this new center for entertainment, I just knew it. Little did I know what an entertainment center really was. Not gonna lie, it was a total bummer to realize the actual thing was nothing like the arcade I had pictured in my mind.

Just a couple of things off the top of my head is that you can pick a center that has room for all your electronics. Mine has room for several game systems, a superfluous BluRay player, a soundbar, and an old record player from the '70s as well as space for my LPs. If you need more room, you can find one that will give it to you. If you need less room, you can find one like that too. Another job that this particular piece of furniture does is it helps to hide all the wires that your electronics need to function. The other thing that they do besides hold your entertainment items is that they complement the room, typically. They come in so many different styles that the sky is almost the limit.

Spring Has Sprung - More Time Outdoors

Longer Days and Warmer Weather This winter has had its ups and downs. Just when you think it was over, here came another week or more of cold weather. I guess winter just wasn't ready to loosen its icy grip just because an underground dwelling rodent said it was time.
